Waste Management and Recycling India was held from 8-10 April 2013 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida Expressway, Delhi. The event provided an essential meeting place in India for all businesses, products and services related to the Solid Waste and Recycling Industry.

India has a large and increasingly wealthy population producing 68.8 million tons per year of Municipal Solid Waste or 188,500 tons per day.

With the growth trend set to continue urban India will generate 160.5 million by 2041 and over the next decade some 920 million tonnes of solid waste will need to be properly managed.

Waste Management and Recycling India 2013 played a critical role in connecting all businesses involved in and served by the Solid Waste Management and Recycling Industry, and had huge levels of support from many of the largest municipals in the region.

Put simply - Waste in India is big business.
